General Description

The “Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 days and 1 night” tour is an exciting adventure that combines the best of both experiences in the Peruvian Andean region. On the first day, you will explore the treasures of the Sacred Valley, visiting archaeological sites such as Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero. You will enjoy the local culture and spectacular landscapes.

Then, in the evening, you will head to Aguas Calientes, the base town of Machu Picchu, where you will spend the night in comfortable accommodation. The next day, early in the morning, you will ascend to Machu Picchu for a complete guided tour of this iconic Inca citadel. You will have free time to explore on your own before returning to Cusco.

This experience allows you to immerse yourself in the history and natural beauty of the region, culminating in the majesty of Machu Picchu.

DAY 1: VALLE SAGRADO DE LOS INCAS – MACHUPICCHU

Here is a summary of your day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas:

–  07:00 am:  Pick up from the Hotel to begin the tour of the Sacred Valley.
– Visit to the typical Pisaq market to explore and buy local crafts.
– Stop in the town of Urubamba to enjoy free time for lunch (not included).
– Visit to the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo.
– In the afternoon, take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu).
– Arrival in Aguas Calientes and transfer to your hostel or hotel.

This itinerary will take you through beautiful places and prepare you for your visit to Machu Picchu the next day. Enjoy your trip!

DAY 02: MACHUPICCHU

Your second day in Machupicchu and the return to Cusco will follow the following itinerary:

– 06:00 am: Take the bus to the Inca citadel of Machupicchu.
– 07:00 am: Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of the archaeological complex of Machupicchu.
– 09:00 am: Free time to explore and take photos at the places of greatest interest.
– At the appropriate time, take the bus from the Inca citadel of Machupicchu to Aguas Calientes.
– 18:20 pm: Boarding the train to the town of Ollantaytambo, where a person will take you back to the city of Cusco.
– 22:00 pm: Arrival in the city of Cusco.

This day will give you the opportunity to explore Machupicchu at your own pace before returning to Cusco with unforgettable memories of this archaeological wonder. We hope you have an amazing trip!
